Micah

From October 26, 2025 until Christmas of 2025, we will be studying the book of Micah. Micah is a book that tells of judgment and deliverance. Many focus on Micah 5:2 during Advent, so we thought it would be appropriate to take the weeks leading up to Christmas to look at the context surrounding the prophecy that a ruler would come from Bethlehem. The main idea for the book of Micah is that there is no one like the Lord - and that is demonstrated perfectly in the person and work of Jesus Christ. "Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love. He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will show faithfulness to Jacob and steadfast love to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old." Micah 7:18-20 (ESV)
