Micah 3:5-8

Micah 3:5–8 confronts the destructive ministry of false prophets who promised peace while ignoring sin and judgment. This sermon explores God’s condemnation of those who distort His Word and contrasts them with Micah, who was filled with the Spirit and called to declare the sins of the people. We also consider Jesus as the True and Greater Prophet promised in Deuteronomy 18, who not only exposes sin but provides salvation. Finally, we apply this passage to the prophetic responsibilities entrusted to pastors, husbands, fathers, and faithful Christians today.
