Micah 2:1-13

Micah 2 reveals the corruption within Israel: those who exploit the vulnerable, covet what is not theirs, and attempt to silence God’s prophets. Yet, even as judgment is pronounced, God’s mercy shines through. The chapter ends not in despair but in hope—the promise that the Lord Himself will gather His people and go before them as their Shepherd-King.

This sermon reminds us that no matter how dark sin may appear, God’s justice and grace prevail. The Lord who judges is also the Lord who saves. Christ, our Shepherd, leads His people from captivity to freedom and from judgment to joy.
