The Sermon on the Mount

What did Jesus really say? Jesus' words are among the most familiar in history, yet they are often misunderstood or taken out of context. In this series, we will work verse by verse through Jesus' most famous sermon—the Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew 5–7.

As we study Jesus’ words in their context, we will discover what He actually taught about happiness, the law, anger, sex, marriage, fasting, giving to the needy, anxiety, loving your neighbor, prayer, the Golden Rule, and other themes. Through this series, we will learn how the King calls His people to live as citizens of His Kingdom.
