In Psalm 107, we see four stories of redemption that reveal the steadfast love of God. Whether His people are wandering, enslaved, suffering because of sin, or overwhelmed by storms, God hears their cries and delivers them from their distress.
This Psalm ultimately points us to Jesus Christ, the Redeemer who saves His people from their greatest need—their sin—and gathers them from every nation. Because God is faithful and His steadfast love endures forever, the redeemed of the Lord are called to give thanks and proclaim what He has done.
