Patience in Suffering

As we near the end of James letter we again return to the idea of suffering. He began his letter to teach us that we ought to be joyful in trials, and now he teaches us to be patient. In James 5:7-12, our eyes are pointed to the return of Christ, to the eternality of Christ, and the compassion and mercy of Christ.
