This Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church, missionary Allen Mann from GraceWorks Global brought a missions update and preached from Matthew 9:37–38. In his message, The Harvest is Plentiful, he reminded believers that the world is full of people ready to hear the gospel, yet there are few who are willing to go. Drawing on stories from ministry work in the Philippines, Nicaragua, and among the Hopi people, Allen encouraged the church to pray earnestly for laborers and to be willing to enter the harvest field themselves.
